Later, you’ll visit the San Antonio Shoe (SAS) factory, see where these famous shoes are made, and explore their turn-of-the-century general store. This evening, perhaps you will partake in an optional dinner in one of San Antonio''s local restaurants and see the IMAX presentation of “Alamo…The Price of Freedom.”

Your day is at leisure to discover San Antonio on your own. Spend time shopping for those special gifts at the colorful Mexican Marketplace. This evening, sit back and enjoy the view as your included cruise takes you along the Paseo Del Rio, also known as The Riverwalk. Then, enjoy a private cooking class. Experience the flavors of true Tex-Mex cuisine as you learn the art of cooking and making the perfect Margarita - then enjoy your creations!

San Antonio - Grapevine
This morning, travel north through the "Lone Star State" to Grapevine, which is nestled between Dallas and Fort Worth. Grapevine has a sophisticated charm and is known for its fine dining, shopping and many wineries. Your accommodations for the next two evenings will be at the new Gaylord Texan Hotel. This evening enjoy a New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner Dance with live entertainment and a champagne toast to the New Year.

Day 5
Grapevine - Dallas - Ft. Worth - Grapevine
Happy New Year! This morning enjoy a city tour of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. You will visit the Kennedy Memorial, the Sixth Floor Museum, the West End, John Bryant Cabin and Thanksgiving Square. This afternoon visit the Cross Timbers Winery, which is located in the historic Dorris/Brock family farm house. This home has been recognized as one of the oldest structures in Grapevine. Learn how they make their unique wines, followed by a wine tasting. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner at an authentic dude ranch and celebrate the end of a great vacation in true Texas style!
