Airport Transfers

London Gateways: Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and central London. When you book your tour with Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included. It''s that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London.
Important – Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
Heathrow Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-21.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by coach. Gatwick Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-12.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by express train and coach. Transfers outside these times will be at the passengers own expense.
In the event of unforeseen events (road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
No refund is available for passengers not utilising this service.

European Gateways: With Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure day of their tour at the times specified below. Please ensure your Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the transfer times shown.
Trafalgar Bonus - Passengers who book Trafalgar''s Land+Air package and who arrive or depart outside of these specified times on the scheduled arrival and departure day of the tour will also be provided with a transfer.
Passengers arriving before or leaving after the scheduled tour days are not entitled to a transfer but may book and purchase one through Trafalgar providing that they also purchase the additional pre and/or post tour hotel night(s) from Trafalgar. Please ask for prices of transfers at the time of booking your extra night accommodation.
Land only passengers arriving or departing on the scheduled tour arrival or departure days but whose flights don''t coincide with the listed transfer times below may also book and purchase these transfers. Flight details must be provided to Trafalgar not less than 21 days before the flight departure.

Free London Return
Passengers on the ''Land only'' option may return to London by Trafalgar motorcoach at NO EXTRA CHARGE, instead of departing from Paris. Accommodation will be required, as arrival in London is late afternoon/early evening. Ask your Travel Agent to book this for you.

Day 1- Depart USA Overnight flight to London.

Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights) After checking into your Trafalgar hotel, the rest of your day is at leisure to relax or to start to explore this exciting capital city.

Day 3 - London sightseeing & at leisure London sightseeing & at leisure Many major sights are included on our morning sightseeing tour, then time is your own. (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 4 - London - Amsterdam Greetings from our Tour Director before a scenic drive to the White Cliffs of Dover. Here we board our ferry for the short sea crossing to Calais in France. On our arrival we''ll continue by coach through Belgian countryside to Holland and Amsterdam, one of Europe''s friendliest cities. This evening, we join our Tour Director and fellow passengers for a Welcome Drink and then we board our glass-covered boat for our included canal cruise. (Continental Breakfast)

Hotel: NH City Centre

Day 5 - Amsterdam – Rhine Cruise – Heidelberg After an orientation tour of this city featuring the Mint Tower and Royal Palace we will visit a diamond-cutting and polishing factory, (opening times permitting). Later, we travel past Arnhem, en route to Cologne to see its magnificent Cathedral. Then via Bonn to the Rhine Valley where we embark on a Rhine cruise gliding past terraced vineyards and medieval castles. We disembark at St. Goar with views of the impressive Lorelei Rock before reaching beautiful Heidelberg where we will enjoy magnificent views over the University city from the castle terraces before having dinner in our hotel this evening. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 6 - Heidelberg – Black Forest – Rhine Falls – Lucerne (2 nights) Today we drive through the fairytale Black Forest where cuckoo-clocks were first invented, to Lake Titisee pausing to view the Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen. Next into Switzerland past geranium-covered wooden chalets to lakeside Lucerne for two nights. (Buffet Breakfast)

Hotel: Grand Hotel Europe (2 nights)

Day 7 - Lucerne orientation & at leisure Our orientation of this medieval town includes a visit to the Lion Monument plus our Tour Director reveals a Hidden Treasure to us all in this charming town. Then time at leisure to take a mountain excursion or shop for Swiss watches and chocolate. Later, why not join in the fun of a Swiss Folklore show? (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 8 - Lucerne – Paris (2 nights) This morning we head into France, passing Belfort and the remains of the Maginot Line. Then past the onion-domed churches of Montbeliard and we make a picture stop to view the vineyards at Savigny-Les-Beaune. Finally, we arrive in Paris with the chance to go to one of Europe’s finest cabaret shows tonight! (Buffet Breakfast)

Hotel: Novotel Gare de Lyon (2 nights)

Day 9 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure Our guided sightseeing includes views of the Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde and Notre Dame. Then we ascend to the second level of the Eiffel Tower for spectacular city views. Free time in the afternoon and tonight we enjoy a Farewell Dinner together with our new found friends. (Buffet Breakfast / Farewell Dinner)

Day 10 - Paris - USA ''Au revoir'' as we transfer to Charles de Gaulle Airport for our return flight to America. (Buffet Breakfast)
