This is the town where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet. The picturesque old quarter of Koblenz has over 130 festive wooden huts at its Christmas Market. Sip a warm mug of gluhwein on a horse drawn carriage; have a go on the toboggan run or visit the life size Nativity scene. The town hall courtyard provides an enchanting setting for the open-air Christmas concerts.

One of the most popular Christmas markets in Germany is the Christkindlesmarkt. The Main Market Square has over 180 wooden stalls filled with gingerbread, fruit loves, Christmas tree angels, hand crafted ornaments and toys. A unique souvenir to this area, are the Nuremberg plum people, which are figurines made of prunes. Next door to the Christmas markets you can find carousels and a steam train for children. Many of our Christmas markets vacations spend time in Christkindlesmarkt.
